Javier E. Sanchez, MD
Dr. Sanchez is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician with advanced training in diagnosing and treating complex pain conditions. Originally from Puerto Rico, he was raised in a family of engineers and earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Sanchez completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City and was selected for the prestigious Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship, a collaboration between Weill Cornell, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. There, he developed specialized expertise in a wide range of advanced interventional techniques to treat chronic and acute pain. Dr. Sanchez brings a thoughtful, multidisciplinary approach to each patient, with a focus on improving function, reducing pain, and restoring quality of life.
