What to Expect at Your First Appointment
At Pain Care Florida in Port St. Lucie, we know that every patient’s pain experience is different, so we take a thoughtful and personalized approach from the first visit. During your initial appointment, our team will take time to truly listen—learning about your symptoms, reviewing your medical history, and performing a thorough assessment to understand the cause of your pain better. We believe that building a strong foundation of knowledge about your condition is the first step toward meaningful and lasting relief.
To make sure we can offer the best possible care, we encourage you to bring any previous medical records, test results, or imaging such as MRIs and X-rays. It’s also helpful to share information about previous treatments you’ve tried, even if they didn’t work, so we can avoid repeating unsuccessful approaches. Our goal is to create a clear and focused treatment plan that targets the root of your pain and helps restore your ability to live and move comfortably.
Initial Patient Assessment
To get started, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire about your pain symptoms, medical background, and any prior treatments. Providing as much information as possible will help gain a clearer picture of your condition.
Medical Review and Examination
Our physician will review your medical history and may conduct a physical examination to further assess your pain. This step helps us determine the underlying causes and identify the most appropriate treatment options for you.
Personalized Pain Treatment Plan
After your evaluation, we'll develop a customized treatment plan designed to help relieve pain and improve your daily function. We use a combination of therapies and proceduresto target the source of your pain.
